Basic Description

This system provides the instrumentation, isolation, and interconnects necessary to test a range of fork lift motor controllers. The unit carries out the measurement and monitoring of analogue and digital I/O, capture and the processing of waveforms from the unit under test. The system is P.C. controlled and uses National Instruments SCXI hardware. Communications from the P.C. to external test hardware is by fibre optic link.

MTC's Involvement

MTC was contracted to design, develop and build the system from a functional specification provided by the customer. The software user interface was written in Visual Basic and hardware interface DLLs written in "C", Windows NT was used as the operating system.
